Travel Tips
A weekend in Stuttgart

Two days in the city...

If you plan a short visit to the city, or if you will only have free time to get to know it for two days, it is important to organize the time very well to be able to visit its main destinations and try to visit most of the city. For this we give you some tips of what you can know and what activities to do for a short visit.

Starting the first day from the central station, in a day you can do certain activities, first it is recommended to make the tour of the city walked, this tour lasts around 2 hours and makes a small tour of the most central and popular areas, in two hours describes curious facts about the development of the city, architecture, main squares, and valuable information that will make you understand the city more from the beginning.

Then there are two places in the same central area that are worth knowing, especially since the entrance is totally free, one is the old castle that is the anthropology museum of Baden Wurttemberg, possibly its journey will last around 2 hours, for then go to another free exhibition in the Stadt Palais, and learn a little more about the history of the city.

With these three activities you will really need a break and recover your energy, you will be able to rest in one of the squares, there are very good cafes in the Schlossplatz as well as in Schillerplatz or Karlsplatz, these three squares are close to each other. And if you finally want to end the day with an activity, you can visit the tower of the central train station for the last photographs of the city from above.
The second day and after knowing a bit of history and the center, you can buy a ticket for the tourist bus to make the most extensive tour, and take advantage of one of the tour stops at the Mercedez Benz museum, the museum is possibly for many, the most impressive in the city, an activity that can last up to 4 hours, after the museum you can rest in Rosenstein Park, recover your strength and then climb back to the tourist bus and visit the TV tower and get the best views again from the city. Finally you can finish the second day enjoying the varied cuisine that the city offers. Although if you still have energy you can visit the Porsche Museum, which is a little smaller and the tour is done in less than two hours.

After these activities we can guarantee that you will need a good rest. We wait for you next time to continue with more destinations such as the Wilhelma Zoo, parks like the Killesberg or Karlshoehe, other available pay museums or art galleries in the city.
